King Tides, Sandy Beach

Checked out the fishermen's ledge to see if I could see even more wave action - seemed, randomly, a tad more effusive than yesterday.  Stopped by the launching ramp at Maunalua Bay and there was definitely higher surge than previously days, with more water over the low rock walls as well.   Canoe paddlers were out, too.   Sandy Beach had long washs up the sands.  Notice how many people are playing in the wash and not really in the ocean waves.   Have not heard any report on action in Waikiki, altho the south swell should have had some impact there.  Highest tide was at 5:55 PM, this shot was taken at 6 PM.
