WAITING

Waiting for the off. Blimey, those vehicles are a bumpy ride.

All plans went out of the window at 10:15am when a neighbour became very poorly. The doctor took an age to arrive; the 999 ambulance was a fair bit quicker, and after two and a half hours we were on our way. Then it was six hours at the hospital until she was safely tucked up in bed on a ward and G came to get me.

Extra: the A&E department has certainly been upgraded since my last visit. It felt like a TV set!

My neighbour did not have a good birthday, though as I am back-blipping I can report that she has recovered a bit now.
