Silly Saturday: Stairway to Heaven...?!

...or just a Ladder to Nowhere?

I spotted this on a local building site as I walked past this morning. I'm not quite sure why they've put such a long ladder here.

Are they planning to practise high-level pole dancing? Or is the circus coming to town?
