It's my birthday. Yay!

Today is my birthday and I'm 14 years old. That's 98 in human years! Actually, no one knows if today is really is my birthday. Ann adopted me on 16th January 2005 and the staff at the RSPCA thought I was about 6-7 months old. I'd had such a horrible life (read my bio) that no one knew when I'd actually been born. Can you imagine that............... not knowing when your birthday is? But do you know what?.................. As soon as Ann adopted me she said, 'Molly, if you're 7 months old, we'll make your birthday 16th June. June is a nice month for a birthday and I promise you, we'll do something to celebrate every year.



Soooooo...................... today for my birthday, we had a day out together. We went to Looe. Looe is a lovely little town so we had a good mooch about. Unfortunately the beach isn't doggie friendly but Ann was going to let me have a bit of a splish, splash, splosh in the harbour. …........But then she saw signs that said it was a working harbour and no swimming was allowed. Boohoo. We went to 'Harbour Moon' for lunch and Ann had nachos, smothered in pulled pork, cheese and spring onions. As it was my birthday, I was sure I'd get some little titbits so I rested my head on her knee and gave her my 'appealing look'. It didn't work. She fed all the nachos into her own tummy. Mmmm............. I was starting to think that our day out was all about her.



Anyway, on the way home we stopped off at Lostwithiel. Lostwithiel is the type of place that one drives through and never stops in, but actually it's very pretty when you get away from the main road. There's a little park and a river for splish, splash, sploshing in. Yay!



We've not been home long and we've both had to have a little snooze because being out all day has made us tired. I'm still snoozing and Ann's cooking steak pie for her tea. And guess what................... because it's my birthday, she's going to share it with me. Only the filling though, cos pastry is bad for us doggies. 



I've had a lovely day out for my birthday, but at 14 years old, I'm exhausted now.
