I couldn't help noticing the juxtaposition in this shot on a wall in a place where Bb and I stopped for a coffee after going to the English Speaking Church's summer fayre this afternoon.

Our Brazilian non-Airbnb guests arrived yesterday afternoon (Priscilla and her boyfriend Willheim) and slept well last night. We enjoyed their company this morning over coffee and pastries and helped them buy their tickets online for their various tourist visits to museums and got them set up for the day.  Nice to be in the helping seat for a change as Priscilla and her mum Gina are a great help to us in Rio:  paying our regular studio bills and receiving our re-directed mail at their office. Gina showed us the studio which we ended up buying when we were looking to buy in Rio and she introduced us to her brother Francisco (Priscilla's uncle) and his team, who then did the renovation for us.  We’ve been grateful ever since for meeting this family and so it's very nice to have Priscilla and her boyfriend Willheim here with us.
