There and back...

A relaxing day, just what we needed really. This afternoon we had a little train trip. A few years ago Aylesbury gained an extra railway station to the north of the town as part of a significant housing development. Aylesbury Vale Parkway is only a few minutes from the main railway station in the town but until today, we’d never travelled that section of line. It follows the course of an old passenger line and gives a perspective on areas of the town you never see from the road or on foot. Sometimes you just have to do these things! The whole trip there and back takes a little more than 10 minutes but was still fun to do. Here we are at the Vale Parkway station and its one platform.
