80 years on.

It is now 80 years since the lane ceased to be a through road (when the airfield was built). Notwitshatnding the repeated notifications to the satnav atlassing companies (with photographs), the road only ever gets to appear as being a dead end for a couple of years and then, to the annoyance of drivers who don't see road signs and to residents, stanavs seem to revert to showing it as a through road.  To get round to the other end is a 5 mile detour for ambulances, delivery drivers etc.
