Stop & Shop

The checkout area of our nearby supermarket--just a bit more than a five-minute drive (it was an unusually slow Saturday afternoon). The store  has a gas station and we receive gas points toward our cost--currently we have 400 points (from just the last three weeks, including special promotions), which would reduce the price per gallon by 40 cents (a typical fill-up is 12 gallons, on which we'd save $4.80--not bad :). Otherwise we mainly watched  tennis (Federer advanced to the Stuttgart final) and U.S. Open golf.
