My dad decided he wanted to cut the bottom off of a bottle to make a decoration. He read a method of doing it that involved string, methylated spirits, a match and cold water. Scary to watch...and it didn't work, the bottle is still in tact.

P.s. mum if your reading this....that isn't your kitchen.... :-s
