Windowsill Cyclamen
The fog lifted late morning and we had a few hours of thin sunshine, but it lurked nearby and crept back thicker than ever.
A small sign of climate change- a fantail was flitting around my son and me as we cut and stacked firewood. This is the first time ever I have seen a fantail in my garden in winter. For many years I saw them for about three weeks in spring and autumn as they migrated to summer or winter territories. Last season a pair stayed all summer. Now, after not seeing any for several weeks one is back.
