Instead of sitting in watching Love Island ( so down wit da kids) tonight we had a double dose of culture
First, a cheeky Nando’s mixed grain salad. Fantastic
Then the RSNO performance of Classics at the Movies at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall. Can’t think the last time I came here, Jools Holland circa 1997? Surely it hasn’t been as long? Anyway, brilliant night. I still love the big bass drum the bestest, but the string section were incredible with lots of Russian composers, lots to fiddle about.
The finale was the European premier of the John Williams soundtrack to the New Star Wars movie, made me wanna go right out and see da movie.


Came home. Watched Love Island!
