Remnants....

During the early hours of this morning a band of rain swept across Marlborough from the north-west. Its remains appeared as a low cloud-bank in the south-east when Maisie and I started out on our early walk. By the time we turned on the tracks to retrace our steps only the remnants of the cloud-bank remained. The day has been relatively mild for the time of year.... a relief from recent very cold weather.
