But a better day than yesterday!

A misty morning. Cycling through the cemetery after dropping Amy at school I pass the area where crocus flower abundantly in Spring. Today it's a carpet of leaves with this striking cluster of fungi around the base of a Horse Chestnut tree. It might be Honey Fungus, not good news for the tree. Adjacent was an old stump, long since felled, also displaying this fungus.

I'll be back in Spring for the Crocus :)
