Awaiting Passion
I had today’s blip all thought out in my head this morning - a photo of my once in a decade bacon buttie which was on offer for Father’s Day at Costa Coffee at a reduced price. £2 for a flat white and the bacon roll.
Now it has probably not escaped your notice that I am not a father nor do I have a living father, but His Lordship is a father, and fortunately for me as far as the offer went he is a vegetarian. The bacon buttie was all mine.
The only unfortunate thing was that so delicious did it look and smell, that without a moment’s hesitation it was devoured by this greedy Lady and only when I was licking my lips and fingers with not a trace remaining did I remember about the blip.
Too bad. I give you instead, the remaining passion fruit, deemed wrinkled enough on the advice of Munroist4113, to be eaten. Two teaspoonfuls and it was gone and now I await the passion. It may be slow release, but I am patient.
