House leeks

They have now deigned to flower. Whilst small they are, to my eyes, surprisingly elegant.
For the first real time this Summer we went next door and started some tidying there. The new neighbour was in resulting in long conversations about this and that. I wasn't expecting to be living next door to someone who has sailed to the Scillies.
To celebrate all our hard work, off to the village bar for a well-earnt meal. A variety of acquaintances form a variety of nationalities there made for a social evening.
