Spend a Summer Day - Bald Eagle State Park

It was Saturday morning and the weather was very nice. After our big day of working around the house until we dropped on Friday, we took a break and went out for a quick breakfast and then swam at Bald Eagle State Park.

There were only a handful of people there when we arrived, but things were perking up by the time we left, a bit before noon. (Yes, we are often morning swimmers; that's the best time of the day, I think, for just about everything.)

I looked back just before we left the swimming area and took this shot. Such simple pleasures to see here. A sandy beach. Verdant hills. Boaters. Picnickers. Fisherpersons. People having fun, just spending a summer day at Bald Eagle State Park. . . .
