Today's the day ……………………………… for Kirkcudbright Jazz

I don't know why it has taken us so long to sample the delights of the Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival?  We're very fond of that little town in Dumfries & Galloway, which always has something interesting going on, and often go and visit.  But this was our first time at what is actually the 21st Kirkcudbright Jazz Festival. 

It's easy to see that, over the years, the town has built up a great rapport and friendship with the jazz musicians who come to play.  Some of them return year after year from very far-flung corners of the world and the Festival has built up a high reputation for featuring quality Trad New Orleans, Dixieland and Swing Jazz.
