A Fishing Cat-as-tro-phe.

I was reading an advertisement for book of , Louis Wain's published work and decided to have a look at the children's books ( once owned by my godmother ) which have Wain's cats in them. They must date from the early 19 hundreds.

The photo shows the cats at the fishing club, led by Master Fluffie.

The front of the book has an advertisement for Fenning's Fever Cure, priced at1/1 1/2 and 2/9p
.and it will prevent convulsions. How things have changed!
