Remembering Dorothy

Our relative Dorothy died through the night. She lived to the ripe old age of 99, and for the most part had a happy healthy life (as far as we know!) which is cause for a celebration.

Dorothy was a teacher in her younger days and a lot of her pupils still visited her. She was a very popular lady and had lots of friends. I thought she would easily go on for another ten years, such was her good health and outlook on life.

Dorothy was expecting word from the Queen for her 100th in October (apparently it's not a telegram anymore). Sadly it wasn't to be.
