Balloon man

I had a few days in Chisinau in Moldova this month.  Moldova?  It's a small country, a former Soviet republic, located next door to Romania (the language is Romanian), and carries the unfortunate title of being Europe's poorest country.  Famous probably only for its wine and Transnistria, a separatist region stuck in its soviet past (and loyal to Russia).
