Dream Team
A bright, warm day
After church this morning, six of our family set off on a Training walk for the Dundee Kilt Walk. Most started in Tayport, crossed the Tay Road Bridge and then stopped outside my son’s house in Dundee where I joined them. The photo was taken just as I joined them.
We then headed off through Broughty Ferry to Monifieth where the Kiltwalk ends. The main group walked just over 10 miles while I walked 5 miles. This was the furthest I had walked non stop, and my muscles were well aware of it. In the photo are myself, my daughter, my wife, daughter in law, grandson and granddaughter. The final team member, my older granddaughter, was away on mission.
We are seeking to raise money for CHAS, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, which does excellent work caring for children with life limiting illnesses and also provides relief for the families. Nearer the time I shall include a link so that you can donate, should you wish to do so.
