First Stawberry

Busy Father’s Day - doing fathery things. Cutting the grass (or such grass as I could access in the building site); cutting the hedge; cutting back bushes; putting on washing loads (7 in total) and drying; trying to get rid of the moth infestation at home; walking the dog; Sunday School;tidying up; weeding. Not necessarily in that order.

Lovely dinner ; and messages from the absent children!!

At least my step count is up: 25,000 at close of play as I read papers for next week. Strangely not sat down to watch a football match yet!

In amongst all of this activity I spotted this first strawberry. It was sweet and firm and delicious. Looking forward to the rest.
