Hawea River Track

Today the walking group drove to Albert Town, and walked from there to Camphill Road, where we had our lunch by the Hawea River.  (Picture)  We then walked back to the cars, and had a nice cuppa at a local cafe.  There were 16 of us out on this foggy morning, which turned into a lovely sunny day.  The extra photos are:  1.  At the meeting place.  2  Crossing the swing bridge over the Hawea River.  3.  Wide open spaces.  18,000 steps, or 12 km.

I would like to wish my eldest granddaughter a very happy birthday.  I hope she is having a lovely day.

Tonight is a Quiz night at the community centre, always a fun evening.  I wonder how many questions I will know!!  I'll let you know tomorrow!
