Flying in.......

I saw a Swallowtail butterfly on my Lavender but by the time I got my camera he was already gone. I was happy to get a shot of this smaller butterfly who flitted in and out of flowers.

It was a beautiful warm sunny day with a pleasant breeze. I picked the ripe raspberries and strawberries in my yard; I had two large produce boxes  of them to take to my daughter's house for a simple Father's Day Celebration. It was so nice spending time with her and her kids outside under her large umbrellas.....a very lovely day...UNTIL suddenly it wasn't so nice; there was thunder and lightning and strong gusts of wind......time to move it inside and we decided to head home. The storm came and left very quickly.......very strange.
