Trip to Chile...

due to us having Tourist visas here we had to make a quick boarder run to Chile as our original ones finish just before we leave for Christmas. We realised we could get to a town in a day and so booked ourselves onto a bus headed for a certain Chilean city. On arrival we realised we had made a substantial mistake! The town's architecture resembled the worst examples of British post war emergency housing and due to it being a religious festival everything was closed! We spent the evening watching American cable TV (the first TV I have watched in three months) eating powdered soup and consuming copious amounts of Chilean red wine! All of us were relieved to board the coach back to Bariloche and all had a renewed fondness for Argentina.
