Delicate Strength

The leaves on our beech tree are gold and green, and each day more are turning brown and falling off. There's a chill in the air and the light is less each day. This year is winding to a close, and depending on the results of today's election, we could be in for even harder times for middle-class and poor people -- the majority of the people in this country -- in 2013.

No matter what happens, our beech tree will continue to have buds ready for the sun's return next spring. No matter what happens, we will continue to do all we can to make sure that people are the first priority, not profits.
