The neighbour said that our garden looked devastated after Storm Hector had passed by last Thursday as pots and plants were blown over and the rose trellis broken. Rather than giving us a shock, he tried to make the garden look presentable for our return from holiday.  This strawberry in a pot missed the damage and the beady eyes of birds.
