Sitting in the big chair

So, today was a day for hat #2, and a new, unexpected and unplanned experience.

Our bench chair had to absent himself from a case, so we heard it with just two JPs, and I got to sit in the big chair and do the talky bits. It was a little scary but I think I did ok. I remembered the bits I needed to and as an unplanned impromptu thing I think it went well. I don't think the defendant noticed anything at least :)

This isn't the chair in question - not supposed to do social media from inside the courtroom... So an armchair from my sitting room instead. More comfy, less scary!
