Taking flight
A brilliant Father's day trip on the boat to Bass Rock. On the way there we saw puffins, guillemots, fulmars, kittiwakes and a young seal.
But of course, the main attraction was Bass Rock and the gannets. Lots and lots of gannets. Fantastic to get so close to such beautiful birds.
Afterwards we went for tea at the North Berwick Fry to round off the outing nicely.
A shame Matt had to miss it because he was working, but that just means we'll have to do it again some day.
