Delivery

I cycled to visit my father early today.

Attached to the bike frame was a tree in a tube that I was given at an event I’d attended earlier in the week.

The company gives away many trees each year and my father already has several growing in his garden from previous events.

I had planned to visit a local country show in the afternoon but when I returned home Ripley had deteriorated and, having earlier decided that we would let him rest peacefully throughout the day and hope that he would pass on of his own accord, we decided that we needed to help him on this final journey.
