Glenfinnan Monument

Today we had a look at Neptune's Stairs the lock system on the Caledonian Canal at Banavie  and then on to the Glenfinnan Monument for a quick refresher course on the Jacobite Rebellion.

The weather hasn't been too bad but the wind has got teeth! Three days to mid-summer and we were wrapped up warm!

The extra is a wild flower new to me - Bog Asphodel, a lovely little plant.
