Fireworks 2
Hello Blippers! Hope your all well!
This is just another picture I took last night of the fireworks. I know it's against the rules, but I've been to stressed and busy revising to even take a few minutes to take a new photo. And my camera is acting up again, which is something I really can not be bothered with right now!!!!!
I had 3 English prelims today. One of them is you get a small booklet with a list of topics/questions and you have to write an essay about it. I chose the one that said "Why do people sometimes change the way they speak? I could sort of relate to that, as in sometimes mistaken for being English, as I speak properly, as in I don't usually use Scots words (Aye, wee, braw) etc. I just whatever random rubbish came into my head, and it seems ok, so I'll just have to wait and see what happens! For the other two, it was just answering questions.
In the afternoon, I had an art prelim. You get given a booklet with a painting and a picture of jewellery and are asked to write stuff about it. Then you need to compare work by artists you have studied. I found it quite difficult, but if I fail art, I'm not hat bothered about it.
Open evening tonight at school! Meaning some primary school kids come to the school at night to get shown around. I was a 'tour guide' - I was showing around Craig, my mum, one of Craig's friends, his friends brother, his friends parents, another one of his friends, his other friends parents, a third friend, and the third friends dad. Most of he teachers know me, and they're always fun at this sort of thing.
It was my last time showing Craig around (I've been doing it when he was in P5 and P6) and he's now in P7, the last year before high school. My parents and I have some major concerns, but that's for another blip. I've got so much stuff going on in my head right now, it's hard to concentrate on the stuff that matter.
And finally, I sort of had a mini freak-out today. I just came back from my art prelim and was in geography. I set up a sort of bed (Two chairs and my bag as a pillow) and tried to get a nap. The teacher didn't mind, and there were very few people in the class. And I was really really tired! Anyway, I was grumpy when I woke up, and these two people were being really annoying, so I yelled at them to shut up. I think everyone was really shocked, as I'm the quiet, shy one. But it felt good, and it was my first real outburst. Hopefully, it doesn't get much bigger than this.
Have a nice week!
Steven :)
