Archers Country

The very fields that Henry Burtt, the farmer that inspired the start of The Archers when he proclaimed at a BBC farming conference in 1948 "I've listened very carefully to all that has been said and discussed, but it seems to me that what is really wanted is a farming Dick Barton".
