RANT , 4/4 Highland

A brilliant night out at The Ironworks in Inverness to watch RANT and 12 young fiddlers from the Highlands.

the event brought together the four amazing fiddlers that make up RANT,(two sisters from Shetland and two fiddlers from Fortrose) and 12 young fiddlers from throughout the Highlands, including IsleMums daughter. In groups of three the young fiddlers were given a masterclass by either Anna,Lauren, Bethany or Jenna who then came together over the weekend to play some amazing music. Great to see everyone enjoying themselves playing a variety of tunes from newly written to old ones.
Lovely to meet some of IsleMums family , they must all be very proud and what a great experience for the youngsters.

I was up early and in the garden watching all the baby birds , I heard a thud and thought it must be one of the blackbirds but it was a hedgehog. I now know where he goes to sleep :)
