Run run run!
The Eastern Finnish (*) heifers are out! A happy surprise that they had fun running around without hitting the fences. I was afraid they might be the wildest of all, but they behaved well.
Today was supposed to end the dry spell, at least according to forecasts about a week ago. Some of them had rainfall of up to 40 millimetres. We got one in the morning. One millimetre! Total of six millimetres in 45 days now. That may change during this week though, but I'm afraid it will not change enough. Of course there is the chance that it will change too much...
* Also known as kyyttö, although the name actually refers to the colouring (white backline), not the breed
