Glasgow School of Art-fire

 

Tragedy- Glasgow School of Art fire. Unbelievable that this could happen again.
 (I graduated from there in 2001).
 
Some tough questions need to be asked starting with:
 
1.     Was there 24-hour security?
2.     Were there CCTV cameras in operation?
3.     Was fire protection money paid (or not paid)? This is the unsavoury underbelly of the construction industry. 
 All these questions are basic and could be answered within 24 hours.
 Instead there has been a deathly silence and we have been told that it will take at least six months to unearth the cause because it is "complex".


Open Studios is over for another year and its time to take stock.
Well, I had a look at some of the mud paintings visitors had done and one caught my eye.

Yes I did tweak it a bit and convert it into mono but guess the age of the person who did it?
Three years. Yes three years…
