Paw warmers for foxy feet

Hard day re-staking an apple tree that a council tractor drove over the top of. It seems to have survived so far and is busy producing apples already, but it was leaning an a precipitous angle so we took two old stakes, sharpened them to a point and drove them into the ground. Then we tied old bike inner tubes to the stakes and braced the tree back into a more sensible angle. All very hard work...
