Last day in Valencia

Today we decided to walk back along the river bed park to the art and science centre to spend more time there than when we were on the Segway.  The facility they have created is marvellous.  This was our entry on to the walkway and we stopped for lunch at the little café you can see in the blip.  It was delightful as the space was filled with young families with children playing on all sorts of playground equipment while the mothers and some fathers socialised together.  Valencia is a beautiful city even although there are thousands of apartments where the population live, mostly in old buildings with beautiful frontage,  probably  without gardens so hence the need for a beautiful park to spend time.  At the art and science centre too there are lots of activities for adults / children to enjoy on the water.  One disappointment was the science centre.  We were expecting something like the Museum of Scotland with lots of exhibits and interactive activities.  However this wasn't the case.  Most of what went on inside were film shows.
