It was the first evening of my crochet group yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I do have a fair idea of how to crochet but had never mastered the very basic of the first row after the chain. But it’s so easy; my mistake was trying to pick up 2 out of 3 strands when in fact there are only 2 strands so you just pick up the top one. Romping away now. I think we practice stitches then make a tiny toy octopus before moving on to granny squares which is what I’m most interested in. Maybe I will have a bed throw eventually... I’m sure I could have managed it perfectly well on my own with the help of YouTube and a pattern but they are a great group of people so it’s fun this way.
