Lea and I kept an eye on the American election as I prepped tomorrow's class. While I was a bit worried at some point, lea pointed, rather smugly, that she KNEW Obama would win. I guess when you can feel earthquakes, hear birds and smell fish faster than humans, you believe you can also predict election results.

In any case, as I explained, that snobbish air was rather unnecessary.

(In other news: I am enjoying having more time to myself, though it's a tiny bit daunting. For months I had only 2 or 3 hours each day before work. Now, the whole day when I don't teach!! Shopping for work clothes ensued)
