Villa Monastero

We took the ferry over to Varenna today. After lunch we had a wander around the gardens of the Villa Monastero. The gardens are extremely well looked after.

Some of the gardens are at their best in late Spring, particularly those of Villa Carlotta. We have not seen the Villa Monastero gardens in Spring, but they wee certainly looking good in the sunshine today.
