Common Fiddleneck

Out and about around Dunston and Metheringham, finding fragments of species-rich limestone verge with Meadow Oat-grass, Quaking Grass, Dropwort and Small Scabious and some stunning spring-fed wetlands, with masses of Lesser Spearwort and a range of sedges. Not to mention a colony of Common Fiddleneck on the edge of an arable field.
