Summer Task
Last summer I changed the roof on the Red House. That job was probably a little too ambitious for me so this summer I've decided on an easier task.
In the picture here you see our kayak house. As well as the four kayaks there's also 2 old bicycles, a lawn mower and a pile of inherited construction timber. The building itself was put together 25 years ago as a temporary solution and it is definitely time to rebuild the slowly disintegrating construction.
To make life easier we have bought a "Garage Tent" as a replacement. The floor dimensions are almost exactly the same but the new version will be a meter longeer and the sides are vertical so there should be more space inside.
The big birch in the center of the picture hangs over the kayak shed so I've been trimming that tree and removing some of the trees to the right of the birch.
Consider this a "before" picture. Once the forestry work is completed and the new tent is in place I'll blip an "after" picture too.
