"Feathers in our Cap"

It's my Birthday, today and as well as the lovely drinkable and wearable presents,that people got me, J bought me this Guy Motors radiator cap mascot.

I'm so pleased with it,(I've wanted one for years) and it compliments the Dinky Supertoys, Guy lorry, that I bought, at a knockdown price, some months ago.

The other connection that I and NatureWatcher have with the Guy factory, is that our Granddad, "Spring", worked there,after the First World War, as a sandblaster. He also sang in their Male Voice Choir.

I can look at these presents and think of him.
