Sycamore Tree

Apparently this is one of the most photographed trees in Northumberland, also won tree of the year in 2016.

Before today I’d never seen or heard of this tree but I’m so glad I’ve put that right! A good two mile walk from the Housesteads National Trust site but worth every step, especially when you can sit and eat your picnic and try and take it all in.
