Shady Tree

Sometimes a police car can be found under this tree. Half a mile up a dusty hilly track at the end of a long dead-end road. No criminal activity to talk of, but a good spot for a couple of the Guardia's finest to sleep off the afternoon hours of their shift in the shade.

Early this morning, I collected my prize of a voucher for an overnight stay at the Caleta Hotel in Gibraltar from Sid Olivera, the DJ and station manager of RadioMix106 in Sabinillas. (See extra.)

I think my short time of fame has ended now, but it was fun to hear my name on the radio every day for a couple of months.
