Busy Bees at Lacock Abbey

My friend and I drove up to Lacock today as it was a place she had wished to visit for a while .
It was much quieter than Good Friday, when I last visited but there was a film crew packing up from a medieval film titled ‘The Knight ‘ at the moment complete with jousting and chain mail . The crews seemed reluctant to leave such a glorious setting .
The kitchen garden was spectacular this time with many magnificent plants attracting bees.
We watched ‘The Post ‘ this evening, quite dry but brought back so many memories of the names bandied around on the news as I grew up in the ‘60s .
