New houses and estates are so barren but today has seen a few starling and a wood pigeon. Sadly the wood pigeon couldn't eat the fat balls or suet blocks and the seed was in a container. Perched on the fence it tapped the top of the feeder and flew off. We've now put a plastic lid down for the ground feeders so hopefully it will be back
