One of my neighbors died tonight.

They were keeping it quiet that she had esophageal cancer. He had retired to take care of her. They thought she was doing well. 

About a decade ago some kids threw eggs at my next door neighbor's house. She was on vacation and I thought it would be horrible for her to come back to that. I called the police so they could take a report and then began to clean it. This neighbor was the first to join me.
