Taking a Break

12.9C and cloudy, with rain forecast for the afternoon. Moderate then light WSW/W breeze.

Apothecary7's day off.

We went to Westport beach mid morning and had a long walk along towards Machrihanish.
Fergus had a good run about and didn't go disappearing for a change.
Three surfers were in the water. Two were further out trying to ride the big waves that were like walls of water today. The young lady in the photo didn't seem to be able to get out beyond the waves nearest the shore but she did regularly get up on the board for a short run into the beach.

Home for lunch.
Hung one of the pictures that came home with us from Ullapool.
Then Apothecary7 slept for a while. The cough and cold she has had for a couple of weeks now and that we both had last week on holiday seems to have caught up with her today.
